Short version: we collect what we need to run Class Date, we don't sell your data, and we don't record your voice.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and the profile details you choose to enter (first name, interview type, target company, hours, background, interview date).
- Practice: the text of your answers, your story notes, and the feedback generated for them, so you can review your progress.
- Free question: if you try the free mock question, we keep the text of your answer and its feedback. If you enter your email to unlock the full feedback, we email it to you and send up to two short interview tips. Every tip email has an unsubscribe link.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your email and whether the payment succeeded. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic logs: standard technical logs (like errors and request counts) to keep the service running.
Your voice
When you answer out loud, your browser converts speech to text on your device or through your browser's speech service. Class Date receives and stores only the text. We never receive or store audio.
Who processes your data
- Anthropic (AI feedback): your answers and notes are sent to generate feedback.
- Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, database and privacy-friendly visit counts), Resend (emails).
We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can edit your profile any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@getclassdate.com from your account email and we'll delete it within 30 days.
